Course you have! Just read the forums for a while and everyone does it ;)
I`m not sure what the Op means though ... 4Gb is the amount of data you can store in the memory, that cannot be changed unless you add more sticks, what we talking about here? You can raise the frequency of the RAM to broaden the bandwidth.

It`s not just a simple matter of overclocking the RAM in it`s own right. Tweaks must be done from within the bios and involve raising the fsb which in turn raises the CPU frequency which in turn raises temperatures which in turn can give blue screens of death. RAM timings would then have to be looked at or more voltage given to either (or both) the RAM/CPU even the Northbridge in certain circumstances.
I would first Google your mainboard and find out as much as you can about it`s make-up, gather reference material etc etc.

Overclocking RAM is rly not worth it imo, you will never notice tbh. If your clocking your CPU and you happen to get an FSB and ratio that lands you with an overclock then fine, but its not something i personally aim for.

i got 2 sets of them to make 8GB. GB is a unit for the size of RAM.
MHz is the unit for speed of the RAM, to what speed are you trying to overclock?
