Can i play HD DVD using this?

Ive just brought a bfg nvidea 7900gt oc and it states its hd output. ive got a hdtv if i connect this upto my tv using the correct cables would i be able to watch hd dvds? Or, do i need a hd dvd drive in my pc (if they even exist?!) thanks

Not until they bring out a HD-DVD drive for a pc, no.

The output from the card will just be in HiDef as opposed to normal TV
