I've just purchased a novatech case and an MSI K8NGM2 Mainboard to build for a friend. The mainboard lists the front panel audio pins as:
1 PORT 1L
2 GND
3 PORT 1R
4 PRESENCE#
5 PORT 2R
6 SENSE1_RETIRN
7 SENSE_SEND
8 KEY
9 PORT 2L
10 SENSE2_RETIRN

The case front panel audio connecters are:
Mic PWR
Mic IN
GND
Line R OUT & RET (double jumper)
Line L OUT & RET (double jumper)

Can anyone help me with which jumpers should go on which pins?

Thanks in advanced!

Hi BishBashBosh,

The connections follow the standard Intel® Front Panel I/O Connectivity Design Guide.
http://forum.novatech.co.uk/files/audiosetup.jpg

Pin 1 - Green - MIC2

Pin 3 - Yellow - MICPWR
Pin 4 - White - +5VA
Pin 5 - Brown - Line_Out_R
Pin 6 - Orange - BLINE_OUT_R
Pin 7 - Blank - NC
Pin 8 - White 2 - <BLANK>

Pin 10 - Red - BLINE_OUT_L

Pin 1 PORT 1L Analog Port 1 - Left channel
Pin 2 GND Ground
Pin 3 PORT 1R Analog Port 1 - Right channel
Pin 4 PRESENCE# Active low signal - signals BIOS that a High Definition Audio
dongle is connected to the analog header. PRESENCE# = 0
when a High Definition Audio dongle is connected.
Pin 5 PORT 2R Analog Port 2 - Right channel
Pin 6 SENSE1_RETIRN Jack detection return from front panel JACK1
Pin 7 SENSE_SEND Jack detection sense line from the High Definition Audio CODEC
jack detection resistor network
Pin 8 KEY Connector Key
(key means; no pin so molded connector cannot be put on wrong way)
Pin 9 PORT 2L Analog Port 2 - Left channel
Pin 10 SENSE2_RETIRN Jack detection return from front panel JACK2
