DVD RW discs not erasing correctly

My DVD drive is a NEC DVD RW ND 4550A. Until recently no problem but now when a disc is either quick or slow erased the disc shows as full even when the disc may not have been full before erasing.
Software used is Nero 9 but have also used CDburner XP. System is XP Pro,
Any help welcome.

How many times have the discs been erased? They don't last forever sadly. How old is your drive, they don't last long enough either.

Depednedt on the Quality of the discs how many Erases yougot, tesco you wouldnt get many, Verbatim, youd get a lot :D
