View Full Version : SATA vs IDE DVD DRIVE

Ok. Weird question but which is better? Both basically the same drives but one is ide with faster write/read spead ( only by 2x ) and the other is SATA with a little slower read/write speed.
Please guide me to whicj is better.

finally, SATA DVD drives.

Can't comment as I do not know what chipsets the SATA one is compatible with, yet - was a probelm with the older drives when SATA first started appearing.
