X1600pro crossfire

Hi i've seen the crossfire edition of the x1900 card but havent seen the x1300 and 1600 versions, do they exist and will i need them to use my system in crossfire mode

My understanding is that on the 1300 and 1600 you dont need a crossfire edition, just 2 of the same cards, so basically copying nvidia's sli
