Driver for Sony DWQ30A?

I've reccently purchased and installed a Sony DWQ30A DVD Writer.

It will play DVD's but not record, I think this is down to not having the correct driver.
Can somebody possibly point me in the right direction of a driver to download that will enable it to work with Windows XP Professional please as there isn't one on the Sony website.

I am having the same problem with a different sony DVD burner.

could it be a compatability problem with your system.

you need some proper DVD recording software, XP does a poor job of burning files itself

get Nero 6 or Roxio or something similar
