has anyone else noticed that they're being a lot more relaxed with the liscencing for xp?

I recently activated xp on a laptop, even though it was already activated on another computter AND it was an OEM copy. ONTOP of this i TOLD them that it was already activated on another computer, and the machine on the other end of the phone continued regardless.

It asked 'how many computers is it currently installed on?' so i decided to tell the truth and say one, and it continued with the activation.

Anyone else noticed anything similar?

In answering "one", you are stating that you only have it installed on the current machine you are phoning up about to get activated. What you should have said if you were telling the truth was "two" which would have put you through to an operator.

Lmao nice going --> I got an XP Product code I can't use atm but I'm getting by ok, won't bother messing with it until I need to change it for a 64 bit code.
