The PSU on a family member's B750 is dead. Already repaired once, the thing is no more and has gone to PSU heaven.
The problem we have is that no one seems to be able to supply replacement PSUs. I understand that the laptop is also known as a Movita Bravo 750...
Does anyone know where I can source a replacement PSU from, or by chance does anyone have one lying around from a dead lappy?
Lappy itself is in GWO, it seems to a shame to throw it away for the sake of a PSU....

Following up on this one, I have a similar issue with an old but much beloved B750 (amazing spec for a machine way back when... and still the best screen).
My previous PSU needed a bit of repair to the four pin plug into the computer, as one of the wires had become detached. The positive current wire into the plug was soldered to three of the pins, the remaining fourth pin was an earth back to the psu. Damned if I can remember now which of the three out of the four pins were supposed to be live and which was the earth.
Scroll forward a few years and you guessed it, old PSU long since dead and gone and helpfully thrown out by other half in a cleaning frenzy. So I can't pull it apart to look.
So, again you guessed it, just got hold of what I thought would be a perfect replacement PSU, Edac EA1102331402, correct 120Watt x 20v - 6A output (see site pointed out above for confirmation - not the 150W x 19v - 7.9v one, which I suspect would fry the motherboard and connectors pretty quickly).
Sadly no joy. Output on two out of the four pins, back to earth on two of the others.
So does anyone know / can guide me as to which pins are which and ought to be connected / soldered up etc ? And will it work ??? As I am obviously very reluctant to start chopping up the moulded in place four pin plug on a fairly expensive PSU for the sake of it if I simply have the wrong one and it ought to go back to Fleabay....
PS. Needless to say any contribution from anyone with a dead 750 but active old psu (and / or keyboard !) will be welcomed with open arms and a beer voucher or two.... !
Please see my reply to my other post on this topic for the answers ! Any B750 owner please feel free to contact me, - not least if you need any spare parts !
