Hi I am currently trying to setup a SATA drive with win2000 I cannot get the BIOS to see this drive as primary master.

When I boot from MAXBLAST the SATA drive is not listed on the first page but on the second page as un listed (or something like that)

I have been told I need to reset my BIOS but no idea how!

Please help, please keep it as un technical as possible

Best regards

Adrian

Restting your BIOS means one of the following: finding the 'load deafults' option, it could be called load fail safe default, loads optimised defaults, or similar. OR... Clearing the CMOS, will have pretty much the same effect.

When you're in the bios check to see if there is a setting or option for enabling the sata connections.

This setting is usually set to disabled, so resetting your bios may not help.
