One for the Novatech boys/girls.

Was supplied with a replacement Q321 set to resolve the SkyHD issue, and thus far I am very happy with it.
Trouble is It only came with the euro power lead, which is as much use to me as a chocolate teapot.
Now I do not wish to invalidate my lovely warranty. I have a standard LCD monitor lead connected to it now which works fine with a 5amp fuse in it.
Taking into account the startup charge required for these sets is that the correct rating. If not then please confirm what it should be.
Its either that, or if I am at risk of violating my warranty, can somebody please arrange to ship me an approriate lead.

The working power consumption of Q321 is 150watt. Which means a lead with 3amp fuse should be used for correct rating

Thanks Coops, yes I did see that spec in the instruction book, but was not sure I believed it - the heat coming out of these beasts seems far more then from 2 light bulbs. Was thinking of turning off the central heating over the winter.

I was more concerned about any power spike reqd on startup thus requiring more than a 3amps current threashold.

Anyway guess I can now try with a 3amp fuse - and see if goes pop.

It should not spike that much. As unit does not come on from cold but comes on from a standby state.
