Lets see who's got the "greenest" of them all.

Screen shot of superpi 32M RUNNING (so you take the screenshot near the end of the calculation) and CPUZ (showing the voltage)

interesting....

Though how do we class the results

I.e. do we take the stock CPU speed and see how low we could go ? or something other

People will have differing..
CPU Speed
Duel core vs Quad (I.e. Differing power requirements)

So measuring Greenness won't exactly tally with Voltage

Like the idea though

I suppose it would be for instance

I7 920 and then results for that

Q6600 and results

E5200 and results

etc.

Hi thesis,
Don't matter about superpi 32M beat this core speed.:)

No think it's just a bug in the app, it only happened twice & I was quick enough to get some screenies.

Nice. I've tried down clocking my Phenom BE, which can go to a x5 multiplier and reference clock of 190mhz which would give a speed of 950mhz. Will post a screeny later. (I'm not on my desktop at the moment)

HOLY **** Cal,

That's awesome!

What is the VID on that chip?

I've been trying to get the lowest V's on my e7200 to save on leccy. So far 1.088 is the lowest stable I've got, but the VID is 1.2 so not expecting much lower.

Hi mate,

not sure on the vid tbh, can't be bothered digging the box out at this hour and no app's I've tried will show me the vid. pretty sure it's around 1.2 - 1.3v

just done a run at 3.0Ghz as below, again wprime 32m stable

** edit forgot to mention bios set to 1.10v **

*Stands back in envy*

Considering a stock i7 destroys my OC'd e7200, the fact that you can achieve a 3GHz OC undervolted. My eyes are green :D

I'm impressed mate.

Cheers fella

just run a quick 5 hit session of IBT and my highest temp was 57deg's lol now I'm curious as to what I can get 3.2 at, could be a late night tinker session.

That's what we want to see. Well done Callidus for taking the time to post more than just a CPUZ screenshot (snapshot).
Again although it would be interesting to see some extreme "low" CPUZ voltages, the aim is to show a stable (as much as 32M superpi can indicate) system.
