I’m reaching out from Argentina. I own a Novatech/eNOVA laptop.
I am currently running BIOS version E.IC146.E1_1.008 (Build Date: 01/14/2021). Recently, I’ve been facing persistent “Secure Boot Violation” issues and driver conflicts with the latest Windows 11 updates (Insider Preview 25H2). It seems the current firmware’s security keys are outdated for the latest OS requirements.
Since the local support hasn’t provided any firmware updates, I was wondering if there is a newer BIOS version available for this specific IC146 motherboard (perhaps a 1.009 or 1.010 version?) that addresses Secure Boot compatibility or updated certificates.
System Specs:
Motherboard: Emdoor IC146
CPU: Intel Core i5-1035G1 (Ice Lake)
Current BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. E.IC146.E1_1.008
OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2
Any help or firmware link would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to flash it at my own risk.
Really sorry but we cannot assist with this. The Model C141WP is a unit sold in Argentina under the brand eNOVA. It has nothing to do with Novatech based in the UK. We do not know what this model is, we have never sold it and as such have no access to updates or support for it.
Its most likely that the Novatech mentioned here is Novatech Solutions SA which is an electronics supplier in Argentina and most likely supports or owns the brand eNOVA. As such i would suggest you reach out to either of these two entities directly as they are the only people who can assist you with this product
I know it’s an English-language forum from Ukraine/UK (more or less), but by tinkering with things myself, I solved the problem. Novatech Solutions Argentina offers no support whatsoever.
I’m a self-taught cybersecurity student and I love it, so I tried everything and finally solved the problem. I was able to re-enable secure boot without any support.
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. You’re awesome!
