Bought a Cooler Master 120V v2 cooler from Novatech for my new skylake rig
Unfortunately the pump seems very noisy!
The pump is connected to a Sys_fan header as it should be.
The Fan is connected to CPU1 fan header.
It seems to be cooling my i5 6600K fine,
Running at 4.4ghz 1.2v vcore: Idle temps are approx 35c | full load temps are no higher than 72c
Does anyone have any tips or anything I can try to get rid of the noise?
Thanks in Advance
From the sound of things would the noise be coming from the pump or the fans,
If the noise is coming from the fans attached, you should be able lower the RPM of the fans to a more comfortable level, or invest in a fan optimized for quieter use (Such as Noctua).
Otherwise if you feel the noise coming from the pump may be a fault with the item, please can you contact our technical support department to generate an RMA against the item.
Do be aware some water coolers will have audible pumps so this may be how the device operates.
We hope this has been helpful and if you require any further assistance or have any further inquires, please do not hesitate to contact us.
