My laptop has been working perfectly, then all of a sudden refused to boot. Reading on line, it would appear this could be due to a recent MS security update. Tried the various remedies suggested, with no positive results. So since I had no important data on the laptop that wasn’t backed up, decided to install a new/clean version of Windows 10. However when I get to the part where you have to select the drive/partition the SSD is not shown…when I then load the driver (downloaded form HP), the only partition on the listing is 1023MB not SSD capacity of 225GB. I have tried to reformat in the cmd environment, and also tried the various HP Tools, but I can’t see the SSD anywhere. I have been into the computer, and reseated the SSD, but still no success. The SSD is an Intel SM2259AB-10-080. Any advice is appreciated.
