Can someone please advise where I can obtain the most recent BIOS file for a N240WU notebook ?
Current details are
MB Series : N24XWU_N25XWU/-V
BIOS Version : 1.07.18TNO
KBC/EC Firmware Revision : 1.07.16.
The reason is my Secure Boot certificates apparently won’t auto update within Win11 and am hoping that a new BIOS file has been released (that seems to be the advise from Microsoft).

In regards to BIOS update you are already on the latest so no further update here. In regard to Secure Boot Certificate updates, as far as i am aware this update should be coming via Microsoft and Windows update for this device. Which is the norm for older devices that have been out of manufacture for some time and so BIOS updates are no longer coming as they are not active. The last BIOS for your unit came out in 2019.
However Microsoft have been having a lot of issues with the Auto Update process and its not gone as smoothly as they would want. Right now the only recommendation in this situation where auto update is not applying the updates certs to the boot chain is to reset the existing keys in the BIOS to the defaults to make sure that nothing might have altered them which is causing Microsoft to believe that the keys are a custom setup and thus refusing to patch.
You can follow these steps to do that:
Enter the BIOS: Shut down your laptop completely. Turn it back on and repeatedly tap the F2 key to load the BIOS menu.
Disable Secure Boot Temporarily: Use the arrow keys to navigate to the Security or Boot tab. Locate Secure Boot and change it to Disabled.
Switch to Custom Mode: Look for an option titled Secure Boot Mode. Change it from Standard to Custom.
Restore Factory Keys: With Custom mode active, a new list of key-management options will appear. Select Restore Factory Keys, Reset to Default, or Rollback DBX. Confirm the action. This clears old variables and forces the motherboard to reload its default database blocks.
Re-engage Standard Mode: Change the Secure Boot Mode back to Standard.
Re-enable Secure Boot: Toggle the main Secure Boot option back to Enabled.
Save and Exit: Press F10, confirm by choosing Yes, and let the laptop boot back into Windows.
After this you can wait for Windows update to once again to attempt the patch and hopefully it should then apply. Otherwise i am afraid to say it is waiting game while Microsoft resolves the issues they are having with this process in future updates.
