Sentelic Touchpad

Hi all, I have a Novatech A15 with a Sentelic touchpad. I use a regular USB mouse and would like to find a way to disable the touchpad. I find that while I’m typing I inadvertently catch the touchpad with my hand and the cursor appears in another part of the screen. I’ve searched on line and there are suggestions saying I should be able to turn it off in windows but there’s no selection option. Other suggestions say say it can be disabled in Device Manager but once again there’s no option. If I uninstall the driver I need to do a reboot the laptop and Windows 10 reinstalls it.
Any suggestion will be very welcome.
Thanks all

Hi
If all the drivers and software are installed correctly, it should be possible to toggle touchpad function on and off by holding down the FN Key and then pressing the F9 key. This should lock the touchpad operations. You can then press it again to enable it.

Thanks Coops, I previously tried all the F keys to no avail and then I tried the FN + F keys and still nothing, however this evening I’ve just read you response to my message and decided to give your suggestion another try. This time the touchpad has disabled but I still don’t know if it is because of my latest attempt or something I did last night. I say that because before reading your reply I had not tried the touchpad this evening and when I hit FN + F9 again the touchpad still remains disabled. I not too concerned at the moment, I have what I set out to achieve and once again thank you for the effort you make to help the users of this forum.
Best wishes
