Updating BIOS for MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI

Hi Novatech

I have an MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI motherboard. Looked into updating the BIOS but discovered the differences between “INF” and “IMS” BIOS drivers so stopped. Current BIOS is E7E06INF.A72, wondering if there is an update available? Not done one since I purchased the machine in 2023. Order number was 6356927 if that’s useful.

The INF or IMS is to do with CPU Model type for Board and OEM Logo. the I shows the BIOS is for Intel CPU mainboard. the NF is for one of our Custom Logos. So your system most likely on boot has a Novatech or Reign logo. MS is MSI. So BIOS with IMS means its got the MSI Standard BIOS boot logo. So you can use IMS it will just change logo to MSI Logo. I can request latest BIOS with our Logo if you prefer to keep our boot logo.
